• The interior is stainless steel. This will have a food disposer.

• Yes the interior is all stainless steel I can't imagine it ever going bad, but yet it's one of the only two parts that are covered by the otherwise useless 10 year warranty that Maytag touts with this machine. The other part covered is the dish racks inside.. No cleanable food trap like some other brands offer but it has a "food grinder"

• Yes, it's all stainless. Not sure about food trap but it does have a grinder. We are very pleased with this machine.
