“The depth on appliance image states 27 inches, but responses here state it is much deeper. I need to install it in a 30.5 inch deep closet. As long as washer door is closed, will it fit?”

My measure from back to front is 30 inches. BUT, allowing for plumbing connections at the rear, the front of the washer is 35 inches from the wall. This is exactly the same depth as my old drier. Not sure it will fit properly in that shallow a closet.
