QuestionThe moisture sensing only seems to work when the Normal cycle. But delicates, etc., require multiple cycles to get even a small load dry. What am I doing wrong?

- Answer No this dryer does not have a loud burner noise. You initially hear the burner ignite slightly when starting a load but very quiet after that.

- Answer It is average, but in less than 6 months of ownership, the paint in the drum is peeling and chips are in my clothes. Quality is garbage. Maytag passes me off to a local repair service, and Bestbuy is un-supportive in getting a replacement unit or taking old one back. Do not buy this unit.

QuestionUnlike my dryer, which makes an alert sound at the end of a cycle, my washer is silent. I’ve been googling how to turn on sounds and emailed MayTag customer service twice to find out which is the “end beep” or “audio” button. No dice. Help.
