• It is average, but in less than 6 months of ownership, the paint in the drum is peeling and chips are in my clothes. Quality is garbage. Maytag passes me off to a local repair service, and Bestbuy is un-supportive in getting a replacement unit or taking old one back. Do not buy this unit.
