• The come either in gas or electric, you can’t switch from one to the other. The outer sheet metal might be common between the two, but the insides are totally different. If you need a gas dryer, order a gas dryer. If you already own an electric, am electrician can install the correct plug.

• Hi Osmany, unfortunately the outlet on the bottom is for the steam option on this Maytag - 7.4 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle Electric Dryer, this Dryer does not have the feature to convert it from Electric to Gas. Thank you for your inquiry!
