A:AnswerIt does take longer to dry than my old Maytag because of the heat sensor. I usually have to add extra time by pushing the big button in the middle.
I would definitely have Best Buy investigate noise. I don't hear any loud noises with mine and it is overall pretty quiet.

A:AnswerOnly 17" from front of machine. My installation is tight, from back wall to front of machine is 30" so total = 47" from wall to max door clearance.
