QuestionI just purchased a Maytag set. I just plugged in the dryer and noticed a sound coming from it. It sounds like a faint timer noise. The dryer is in the off position and you hear this noise. I was wondering if this is normal.

- Answer We had the same problem although I installed it. Since the gas fitting is plastic I went and purchased the yellow plumbers tape and sealed all of the fittings. Gas leak stopped.
