A:AnswerHello Ralph,
The Portable CD Player only has an AUX port connection that you could hook up to an auxiliary speaker but the volume will be controlled by the CD Player. You can program the CD Player to repeat the CD so it does not stop playing.
A:AnswerYou need wired earbuds because there is no built-in speaker. I tried a cheaper brand, which has the same basic design, but it didn't have the same clarity of sound. Yours appears much sturdier and user-friendly (more clearly marked). I converted Wave files to mp3s or 4s before burning the CD. It played properly with quality sound.
A:AnswerI make sure that I am on the next track and put the track number on a post-it-note since it may be the next day before I have the chance to listen.
A:AnswerHello Steve,
The Power adapter you need would need to be the following specifications DC in jack is standard center positive polarity, rated 4.5VDC.
A:AnswerThe AC/DC port on device says 4.5 volts, but the Memorex website says 5 volts (did they just round up?). I found this on the Amazon site: USB Type-A Male to 5.5mm x 2.1mm Barrel 5V DC Power Cable with 4 Connectors. My new car has both USB ports (for just charging this discman- it will only serve as audio connection if a compatible mobile device) and cigarette-style charging port. Memorex says either should work for charging. But they don’t say what pin size to buy on s cable that fits into AC/DC port on device. The Amazon item has four connectors- hopefully one will fit.
A:AnswerThis Memorex portable CD player hasn’t skipped yet. My new 2020 Honda Insight did not come with a line-in port unfortunately, so I experimented until I arrived at this discman in conjunction with the Aluratek Bluetooth universal audio transmitter (which plugs into the headphone port of discman). It took a couple of tries but the car now finds the Bluetooth connection. This worked better for me than a different brand discman with built-in Bluetooth. The USB port only charges the Memorex discman- no audio input- only from compatible mobile devices.
A:AnswerThere is a power cord connection on it. I used the cord from my previous player. It tells the required voltage on it. The box says optional 5V power adapter. Mine is a USB connection. I'm sure you could contact Memorex and get one.
