Good news, it's available right now. The boxes are pretty cool

I doubt it. Special editions of games like this are generally pretty hard to get a hold of even at launch. For what it's worth, there's no special content in the game itself for this Special Edition. All you get is a CD of songs (readily available to listen on YouTube!) and some reversible cover art.

As of 10/23/17 it looks Best Buy has stock available for the Special Edition.
