This comes with Windows 10 in S mode. In just a few clicks I was able to take it out of S mode and now it is running Windows 10 Home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The OS is Windows 10 S Mode. If you are not familiar with S Mode, only apps from the Microsoft Play Store or other Microsoft products (like Office 365) can be downloaded onto it. This prevents downloading an app or other program that may have a virus or malware embedded in it. There is an option to turn off S Mode and then the OS is just Windows 10, however, it is a one-time thing - once you turn it off, you can't go back and turn it on again. Personally I like the S Mode as all the apps and programs I use on it are Microsoft-based anyway and it gives me piece of mind that I have the extra anti-virus/anti-malware protection.
