While almost any microSD card will work, I would recommend a Class 10 microSDXC card or better. Using such a card I've seen real (not synthetic) transfer rates of up to 60 MB/s but your rate will vary depending what other devices are in the transfer chain. This is still pretty good, and I have filled a 256 GB card in just over an hour. I use a 256 GB microSDXC card and have heard of people using 400 GB cards. I've also heard that the slot will accept a 1000 GB card (or more?). Caveat emptor. I highly recommend the use of a microSDXC card as a supplement to the standard 128 GB SSD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any microSD, microSDHC, or microSDXC card can be used in the built-in card slot, which supports UHS-I for speeds of up to 100 MB/s. You'll need a separate SD card reader to use full-size SD cards.
