The Surface Go comes with Windows 10 in S mode. While there are many benefits of using this mode, if you wish, you may switch out of S mode, but this is a one-way switch. After making this transition, you will no longer be able to go back to S mode. Find out more about Windows 10 S mode, and how to change out of it here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4020089/windows-10-in-s-mode-faq.
