When you get your surface go you can upgrade to windows home which allows you to download third-party apps which is free

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once you switch out of Windows Home, you should be able to install Windows Enterprise. After I switched, I installed the standard Windows OS along with SQL Server, Visual Studio, and many other apps that I use for software development. I also installed a 256GB micro SSD to increase storage. I do recommend the upgraded model with 128GB SSD and 8 GB memory.
