Is it worthy for a college student?? null

For general note taking, internet research, and typing up a paper... it would suffice, yes. However, I'd recommend a more powerful device to most students since more and more educational programs require increasingly demanding applications (especially engineering and art/media related) and the Surface Go doesn't handle multi-tasking all that well. That and 128GB storage is a very small amount these days. I usually suggest 256GB MINIMUM for light / casual usage. In general, it's hard for me to recommend any computer as a primary use device if it doesn't include at least a quad-core CPU running around 3GHz (ideally 4GHz+) and a lower-end of midrange graphics chip (like integrated VEGA graphics or an NVIDIA Geforce 1050 or AMD Radeon RX560 or better) due to more and more applications taking advantage of multiple CPU cores and/or GPUs for processing or graphics. For a hundred or two more, you could get the much more capable Surface Pro, which is designed to be a primary use device. The Surface Go is designed as a secondary computer.

We have heard responses from several customers who love using their Surface Go for college. If you're looking to run any specific programs on your device, just be sure to check on the system requirements, and compare them to the specs of the device to ensure it will run optimally.

Yes! I use mine for school but I bought the 8 gb ram and 128 gb memory it runs fine, i’ve had it for a month so far.

It all depends on what the college student is going to do with it. If they are just going to take notes, do some email, and write papers, with some light gaming then this is perfect. If they need to run some graphic heavy programs and edit 4k video then no, they need something more heavy duty
