• A:Answer No. It's a separate purchase. Unless it says bundle of course. The keyboard is quite nice though. It even backlights. Note that the black model is a little less expensive due to being different material than the other colors.

• A:Answer It is, depending on the major. I got it because I wanted something compact for a MBA program that I’m working on. For business school it’ll be ok, most demanding apps will be Excel, Access, SQL, Visual Studio, and Tableau - which this can run ok. If you’re going into Engineering I’d say get a Surface Pro or even something with a GPU, since you’ll be running AutoCAD, Creo, and several other graphics demanding software.
