Yes I installed Microsoft's office and it all works better than my laptop did.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! The Surface Pro 3 can be used as a norm computer. I have had both iPads (10" and mini) and Galaxy Tabs (7" w/ and w/o stylus, 8", and Note tablet w/ stylus). You can go tablet or laptop (regular windows or tile windows) view with ease. The keyboard is totally optional, as there is a keyboard on the screen that can be sized or split to your level of comfort and use. I appreciate the accessory much when typing an email or editing docs in Word or Excel. But if you're well versed in the onscreen keyboards then most definitely do or purchase to your level of comfort.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's computer with windows 8 pro, it's not like Galaxy tab(I hate that too), you can check it in store, but I can say, it's a computer and not bad or slow. And it's better than my laptop, because it's really light
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was skeptical as well but once I got one I love it. It currently serves as my only computer and does everything I want. The only thing I caution you in it the screen size is a lot smaller that the laptop I previously had and the icons remain smaller so I recommend going to best buy and trying it out before you buy.
