• So, Microsoft office is on there when you purchase it, but it's basically a free trial for 5 days and then, you need to pay for it. In my case, the Microsoft Surface was purchased for my daughter for college, and her college let her download the office suite for free, so it wasn't an issue for us. Hope this helps.
