Q: QuestionCan this keyboard act as a traditional keyboard and be used for typing while on my lap? Is it firm enough? Can the tablet and keyboard work together as a traditional laptop?

• A:Answer I don't believe so. Box is marked as compatible with Surface Pro X and Surface Pro 8 only. My son bought me this keyboard as a gift, and I tried using it with my Surface 6 and it does not connect. The pegs at the top of the keyboard on this model are a different size that the keyboard I had for my Surface 6 so it would not work.
