“Is a separate mouse necessary or am I working the trakpad incorrectly?”

• You do not have to have a separate mouse. The Trackpad will do anything a separate mouse will do. That said, if you are not use to a trackpad, a small Bluetooth mouse is a welcome addition and does not interfere with the trackpad.

• You don't need a separate mouse to use the Surface. I use the tracpad all the time.

• Trakpad is ok but I have a separate mouse that I like better.

• The trackpad should be sufficient, but you can add a mouse if it makes it easier.

• It is touch screen. If you get the keyboard separate it has a track pad.
