You simply cannot activate Game Pass without a redeemable code unless the game pass is added to the system itself.

In the box I received a gray "postcard" with a code for a 14 day free trial on game pass, not 30 days. Best Buy is telling me I have to bring the card into the store and physically exchange it for a 30 day free trial, even though that is what was advertised. So much for online contactless shopping.
