Microsoft is allowing developers to use supersampling to ensure games still look better on a 1080p TV. Supersampling essentially scales down 4K image quality to a 1080p screen, so you get the benefits of texture improvements, faster framerates, and improved image quality. A 1080p supersampled image should still be a noticeable improvement over what the Xbox One S currently provides. ~ quote from The Verge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on the size of your Tv. Anything less than err 40 inches no not really. 40-50 abput 30% increase. Uprgaded to a 5k Toshiba and it was a jump to 50%.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not. It won’t output higher resolution or hdr unless your tv specifically supports it, which sounds like it doesn’t. So you will get faster loads times, less frame rate slowdowns, 60 FPS if the game supports it, etc. but I don’t think you will see any graphic improvements. Maybe a bit with more textures and lighting effects, but 4K and hdr are really the big benefits.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. We upgraded to a 4K after hooking up to our 1080p LED. Great performance now! On a side note I think they should have left the power supply out of the unit! Why put more heat inside and if it goes now the unit needs to be opened up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, it made the color and overall picture alot clearer
