I have been checking for the past almost 55min refreshing the page and it still says “Coming Soon” - did they open the pre-orders up earlier than the agreed upon time 45 min ago?? If so, and they already sold out, that is very frustrating for the people trying to follow the agreed upon release date and times...

One word. Bots. Theyre already gone bruh. Best bet is to hope you can grab one early on launch day in person at store, as nobody really advertises when they have more pre-order stock online. Even if they did, the bots will beat you. Just dont buy one from an ebay scalper whatever you do. Let them rot

Just let’s all these bots who bought them all up get stuck with them you know they all did the 34.99 a month plan which adds up to 840 bucks so just let them get stuck with it and hold off don’t buy one from any of the bots

This was a horrible experience. The minute it’s was released I got one in my cart and it just hung when trying to check out. Then would disappear from my cart. I would try again and after much time got another and the same thing. This happened multiple times. Unless you have a bot you can’t get someone on Pre-releases. It is so frustrating.

Preorders went live at 12:00 pm est, instead of the 11:00 pm est to try and avoid congestion. It didn't matter, as preorders still sold out within 1 minute.

I finally got a series X on Best Buy it was Terrible Today I think I had heard that Best Buy actually ended up doing their pre orders an hour later from the scheduled time Also I must have gotten lucky because I didn't get one until like an hour and a 1/2 later from when they were Going live at Best Buy And it said everything was gone and then all the sudden it just pops up pre order outta nowhere I was like wow I couldn't believe it From there it took another 30 minutes just to add it to the car and then another 30 minutes to click the check out and put my payment info it was the most ridiculous Situation I've ever seen Buying something in the end it was all worth it though score one for us taking another series x away from the bots

I'm not sure if you are on the west coast as well, but midnight all time zones made it impossible for any of us on the west coast to get this. We even tried to login at 9 PM as that would obviously be 12 on the East Coast with no luck. I'm sorry you're in the same crappy boat as my husband.

The reason it wasn't open was because the website was having difficulty since so many people were getting on it at once. It said coming soon then opened up around 1230. Then went down again because of the traffic on site. 45 minutes later you were about to order them again.

The site was running awful yesterday. I got lucky and got 1 after the site told me there was a problem and to try again later, so I kept my internet and cart open. Then it told me it was sold out but it let me check out and got an email confirming my purchase, bestbuy was the 4th site I got 1 into my cart and the other 3 sold out in anywhere from 2-5 minutes, I think I got 1 here at around 12:45 EST, the other sites all told me they were sold out after I entered my cc information

Started pre order at 11 and had nothing but problems. 11:45 I was finally able to complete order because website was wrecked (constant problems) just to be pushed out; Because product was sold out. Website was bombarded by bots supposedly, leaving it impossible for many to succeed. Hoping to hear further plans to combat such a problem. 
 I've as well been hoping to hear from people/friends good news on their end but they didn't have no such luck. We are all going to have fun with this headache. As much as I'm hoping, I hope those of you have struck good fortune and succeed sooner then later.

I had to keep refreshing the page for over an hour after the pre-order time before I was finally able to get my order in. I had the same problem that most people had with the error messages and only the "Coming Soon" banner thing. Other websites were literally kicking me, 404ing, or were simply out of stock between the time I clicked "Add To Cart" and the time I went to confirm.

I refreshed and dealt with errors for 3 hours in order to get one. Thats how every online pre-order goes cause of bots. You have to be super lucky. Like some others have. Said show up in store EARLY on launch day and thats your best chance go get one!

The pre order date was September 23, 2020. on that date, it was available for pre-order, clearly the inventory has been taken with other pre orders before you tried to do it. Every store gets a certain amount of inventory for that item and unfortunately they are sold out until the next inventory and nobody knows when that will come.

This was a cluster. Thankfully, some retailers (Best Buy included) did a staggered release. I was online at 10:59am EST and it showed "coming soon" for the next 10 minutes or so as I kept refreshing. I called Best Buy customer service and they said they'd sold out in less than a minute and then the site crashed. I had friends tell me that they kept refreshing and were able to get one. I got mine at 1:47pm.

For me i was rushing to the microsoft store website and it was fustrating because nothing would load so i tried it on my phone then it loaded on my computer, i kept trying multiple times to add it to my cart untill it said that i reached the limit of iteams i can have which is the 1 consol per buyer rule. It still wouldn't show up in my cart so i refreshed the page loaded back into the Microsoft website and went straight to the cart. If I was able to do all that and beat some bots to it then i dont see why it wouldn't let you
