A:AnswerFirst check your projectors connection with your usb converter plugged into it while powered on. The screen should change from the no signal screen to blue waiting for a device to connect. Next check to make sure your USB port is working properly on your MacBook by using another device/connection in the port. If you do this and you do not get a visual feed after you plug into your MacBook you could have a usb cord that is worn on the connection strip and just need a new one.
A:AnswerIt most assuredly does not work in a classroom or office setting....or anything other than, perhaps, a closet, according to my experience with it. I can’t imagine what this unit is food for.
A:AnswerIt will play the same as your screen if connected to a computer or tablet. If you DVD player or blue ray allows you to change the aspect it will act like any other TV. The projection is just like watching a standard modern TV.
A:AnswerYou might want to go return it and get an other projector. When I turned mine on it did not ask for a code. Hope you're able to get a replacement.
A:AnswerIf you connect through HDMI you’ll be ok. I use Microsoft Share and Apple TV with it and can cast from any mobile device or tablet with screen cast capability. I image it would work with Google cast as well. Try a PCI or VGA to HDMI adapter.
A:AnswerThis model (the 55) does not need an activation code. I think only the 20 (?) might. I needed an additional cord (HDMI to Lightning) to connect this to my MacBook (which was $50) but other than that it connected and worked right away with no issues. For this model the room needs to be pretty dark. I used it on a 50" projection screen and it was a clear picture, just hard to see if not pretty dark.
A:AnswerUnfortunately it does not. I bought it for travelling. It works great with your smartphone. You will need an hdmi adapter for your phone. A small speaker with aux works great.
A:AnswerIts all realtive to how far away you position it, I have used it multiple times outside at least 10ft by 10ft. In the bedroom its about 50-60in
A:AnswerThe internal battery runs about 2 hours or so.
The bulb cannot be changed in this device, but the bulb is supposed to last 20,000 hours, I believe. Which is like 2 years on constant run time. Lol
