• Correct! It doesn't come with a mast mounting instruction nor a mast or even mounting brackets to install on a mast or any kind of bracket to mount anywhere outside your living quarters. I haven't tried it outdoors. But I do know this, if it didn't give me any where close to the 66 channels it gave me from inside my house. I would have flung it outdoors and into my garbage can hahahaha

• I don't see it as an out-door antenna, but works well in your attic .
