QuestionWill this antenna get HBO or Showtime?

- Answer This antenna only gets digital channels that are over-the-air, not subscription cable channels like HBO, Showtime. It will get the major broadcast channels (ABC, NBC, CBS) PBS & local channels (Fox, CW) , and many extra digital channels (LaffTV, Grit TV, MeTV, Justice TV,to name just a few).

- Answer Unfortunately not well at all. Our antenna's range maxes out at 65 miles I'm afraid.

QuestionDoes a house with Aluminum siding have an effect on the reception? Does the antenna need to be near a window?

- Answer I have aluminum siding on my house and I get great reception. I have 2 antennas and 1 is in my basement not near a window and the channels come in great. I have tried other antennas and the Mohi Leaf Amplified is the best antenna with the best reception.

QuestionWill this work for FM radio as well?Is this antenna only resonant in the TV channels or is its coverage broad enough to also be usable for FM radio reception (88-108 MHZ)? The specifications do not discuss a frequency range of coverage.

- Answer All of the stations you referenced with the exception of FOX are cable/satellite stations that you must stick with a paid service to be able to view. Our antennas only pull in local programming.

- Answer It will probably not work in a basement with no windows. I couldn't get mine to work indoors at all even in a large window. It only picked up one channel outside.

- Answer Buy from Best Buy and take it back if it doesn't meet your needs. Check when you usually watch TV. It doesn't cost much and has a limited range but, for me, does work well for those channels which broadcast near by.

- Answer Yes you can. Same reason I purchased it for my wife. We also have direct and a local channel was dropped. Works best the closer you are to a major city. My wife has a spare TV in the den which she hooked the antenna to. You have to make sure you set the TV from cable to antenna mode(In your TV settings) Then you scan the channels and your local channels should come in. Keep in mind that weather may affect your reception at times. Hope this was helpful.

- Answer Although I’m not in area 90019, my Mohu picks up all of my main local and sub channels of area broadcasts. You won’t be able to receive CNN as it’s a cable network. I have two different Mohu’s attached to two separate TV’s and neither is near a window ( piined to the wall behind the TV’s) and the reception is quite exceptional.

- Answer Possibly, if you are not to far from a city that broadcasts signals able to be picked up buy the antenna. I have the $50.00 antenna but it works very well at 40 miles north of Pittsburgh,pa. Get the better long distance antenna for like $79.00. If it doesn't work you have 15 days to take back to BEST BUY. Very, very easy to set up. I get a great picture with it. Rick
