Yes, but digital transmissions are currently HD or below, not UHD. The same is true for your cable company et al.

I have a 4K Sony, It hooked up with no problem. The coaxial cable goes on your antenna connection and the power plug into any one of your USB ports. and then access your TV's menu setup to scan for local channels. I had to try mine in a few different places to find the best reception, and you'll have to rescan your channels each time.

IT should work just fine for receiving channels on your TV. You may be confusing receiving stations with image quality/resolution.
