“I had a cheap antenna before that I put on the window. Brought in 25 channels on a cloudy day with a 25 mile range. It fried in a couple of days due to the Tx. heat. This was morning sun only. What temperature is safe for this antenna if used in a window?”

It will be the same with this antenna, it's made of plastic/rubber and will warp and eventually crack. Put something between the glass and the antenna such as a bamboo beach mat, woven table placemat etc. Nothing made of steel as it will affect the performance of the leaf.

Please try again later.We don't have a temperature that we suggest as safe we do suggest that you place the white side of our antenna facing out so that is reflects heat as opposed to absorbing it like the black side does. You can also secure all 4 sides down with clear packing tape to help keep the antenna from curling.
