Questioni bought this 3 months ago i cant seem to get anyting over 100mbs. i tried WOW services paid for 200 mbs still cant get over 100mbs. i thought maybe it was WOWs fault, so i switched to Xfinity got the 300 mbs plan still cant get over 100mbs. Any ideas???

QuestionI have an Arris DG2470 modem router thru WOW Way Internet. Is this product a better product then what I have. I’m going back and forth between this unit MG7550 and Netgear C7000. This is all a bit over my headed. We just upgraded to 200MBPS

- Answer The Motorola modem/router is awful. once anyone started streaming any video everything ground to a halt. More info in my review. I have the C7000. It doesn't do everything I want it to do, but it gets the job done. Some issues with Iphone SE.

QuestionDoes this Motorola have decent access controls in the Admin? In other words, curfew settings? Specific day and time limitations, per individual device based on MAC address of the user's device???

QuestionI have AT&T for internet service and my modem quit, AT&T wants me to purchase a new modem from them, will this Router take the place of the broken one from AT&T? Thank you for any suggestions... Tony

- Answer I know the wifi covers 2 stories, and is accessible in my driveway. My cable provider is Xfinity X1, and I have a SmartTV...it works extremely well with both. I have 3 cell phones and 2 laptops using this device with no problems

- Answer If you are viewing Motorola - Dual-Band AC1900 Router with 16 x 4 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem - Black then: Century link requires a phone jack in order for it do connect to the internet. This use a coaxial connection to connect. The Coaxial connection is used for any cable company, IE: Xfinity, Time Warner Cable, etc. Century link is not a cable company, and so this will not work with their services. Also, avoid non-cable and non-fiber based companies, they can't offer as fast as speeds, and charge more for less.

- Answer Cable yes. Mocha? I seriously don't expect them to have that color anywhere. I'll paint it whatever color you'd like, but white and black are it. But white if you want it painted and hope that your $200 modem doesn't burn up if not painted correctly. But it's doable. Kiss your warranty bye bye too.
