“I have a plan with Verizon. I need a replacement phone. I like the g4. Verizon just told me that I have to use the prepaid service for at least one month before I can put the the g4 on my acct. Did anyone have to go through this or did I explain it wrong?”

The Verizon store told me the same thing. Also I needed to switch the sim card from a nano to micro, they said they had no idea about sim adapters and couldn't provide me with a sim that would fit. Went to a local phone store, purchased a sim adapter, popped it in and worked right off the bat. Verizon doesn't really want to see you if you bring in an unlocked phone.
