I bought this phone without any research assuming it will work on TMO. It does not. On TMO i can make calls and phone connects only tob2G network. I'm out of return period hence not sure how to sell this !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Jess, please clarify if the LTE bands listed here and on the Motorola page are correct. If so, it's missing critical bands for both AT&T and T-Mobile. Band 12 for T-Mobile and band 12 or 17 are critical for those services. Please clarify if this is just a mistake, otherwise this is not optimal for many users.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Correction...the Moto G6, and G6 Play support band 12, but not band 71.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used to have AT&T service, and was able to use the Moto G5 (Latin America variant). It worked quite well. When I swiched to T-Mobile, the G5 (which lacked band 12) had subpar performance. I bought the Moto G5 Plus (USA variant) that has band 12, and found my T-MOBILE service to be excellent. Right now there are almost no options for a mid range phone with decent specs that supports bands 12 and 71. The Moto Z3 Play unlocked, and the Moto E5 Plus, and E5 Play (T-MOBILE variants) support these bands, but the Moto G6, and G6 play do not. I'm hoping the Moto G7 will have bands 12 and 71.
