• The mount plugs directly into a wall outlet and the Google Home mini plugs into it.

• Hi You basically just snap the google mini into the mount . theres a short cord you attach to the mini to interface with the power plug. It works well. One thing I noticed it does slightly muffle the speakers microphone as in you have to speak a little louder
