Ours doesn't work either. Best Buy even replaced it and the new one doesn't work..

You must fully charge the battery with you charging cable plugged in to an electrical outlet. If it was fully charged before you put it in the doorbell then I would say it is malfunctioning

The Ring Solar Mount is not an ideal solution for covered or inclosed porches, or those with an overhang. Since the Ring Solar Mount has smaller solar panels compared to the Ring Solar Panel and is installed behind the doorbell, it requires a lot of direct sunlight to properly charge the doorbell's battery.
