I have the GS63VR and have not experienced any heat related issues running some very intense flight simulator and games.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The heat is thrown toward the back of the laptop and not toward your hand (where the mouse is)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All performance machines get "hot" within reason. This MSI laptop, for it's size, does it better than any other based on tests results for on may laptop hardware testing authorities.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The laptop does not get very hot unless you have your hand or an item near the vents located on the back left or right of the laptop. The cooling is great, however the fans are very loud because they are spinning so fast to dissipate the heat, so I would recommend a good pair of headphones during intense gaming. If you look just above the keyboard you can see through the "grill" and you will see the triple fans and heat pipes employed to keep it cool. I have played many hours, and never been uncomfortable
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this laptop runs at around 103 degrees in the center, but the air vents under the screen and under the PC itself do an impressive job keeping the keyboard cool. I would recommend buying an external fan to put it on so you don't burn your legs. There are pretty nice system controls including fan, performance options, the keyboard lighting and freedom to overclock at your own risk.
