Yes the ssd and the hdd are up-gradable, there is a warranty sticker over one of the screws but it does not void the warranty in the US. The HDD is the easiest to upgrade though, the M.2 slot requires a lot of disassembly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.External hard drive would be the easiest. I use my laptop for work and playing games in hotels, so I leave my work stuff on the external drive so it's easier to move from pc to pc. On the small SSD I would leave only programs that need to be loaded quickly and on the HDD documents/movies/pictures as they will not see a drastic increase in speed. I am unsure of the motherboard inside the laptop and if it would be able to add more drives inside. You could switch out the current pcie ssd and put in a new one, but you will lose windows and the pre-installed software.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can definitely try to upgrade your SSD storage, but not sure if doing so will void your factory warranty. This computer is designed in a way that it can be customized in terms of memory and storage, but in order to do that you have to crack the factory seal which can results in voiding your warranty. Check with MSI first and proceed what to do next if you want to keep your warranty.
