Mine is set for high performance and I'm getting about an hour and a half out of it. power consumption drops about 25% when you set it to balanced. This is a pretty big laptop to carry around and set up in class.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Under steady use the battery life is about 2 1/2 hours. I am told it is longer for the 15.6" screen. This laptop is very very fast. The speed of your Wifi is the only limiting factor. Graphics performance is excellent. I wish it had more battery life but there is always a tradeoff for a 17" screen and all this performance. It does recharge the battery fairly quickly. This is the lightest computer for this size but it still isn't really light if you are toting it around all day.
