• A:Answer No. To the best of my knowledge no laptops or very few use XMP. That said the unit does support DDR4-2933MHz. And there are quite a few brands of laptop DDR4 3200 (which will default to 2933 in this) that run at 1.2V I use Gskill, which I believe BB carries in single 8, 2x8, single 16 and 2x16 kits. One nice thing is that you can add a single 16GB stick which will give you 24GB total and it will still run in dual channel mode. Just check the specs on the memory. You want good quality DDR4 2933 or faster that only requires 1.2V

• A:Answer Honestly power draw depends on a lot of things. First and foremost are you using the integrated Intel graphics in CPU? If so then the approx 90 watts the RTX 3060 needs will not be in use. Frankly unless gaming on AA or AAA titles you can use the integrated graphics most of the time. You want to play Horizon Zero Dawn, Elden Ring or some other graphics intensive title just reboot into the RTX graphics until finished playing. If all you are doing is web browsing or writing documents then use integrated Intel graphics and power draw will probably be 60-90W total.

• A:Answer It will probably work. However both will run at the lowest common speed and/or timings. Most likely 2400 but possibly as low as 2133. But it will work if the timing of the 2 sticks match. If it refuses to turn on or gives a memory error then the sticks do NOT have matching timings at any speed. It happens once in a while, not often. But it does occur.

• A:Answer You could add more memory, that may or may not help though. It is likely that your game was patched and that reduced the framerate. Though one other thing to check is that you are booted in RTX mode and not "integrated graphics mode".

• A:Answer You would have to turn some setting down from max. But it will handle the game. The biggest limitation is the RTX 3060. Which in laptop form uses only 6GB of memory. But it will run MS FS as well as dozens of other recent titles well.
