- Answer Yes. I recently purchased this laptop and it works great with the RiftS. You will need to purchase a Thunderbolt 3 to Displayport adapter from Amazon. This adapter is not sold at bestbuy. Do Not purchase the Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 (mini displayport) adapter because it will not work.

- Answer In addition, the $100 more expensive variant uses Windows 10 Pro (as opposed to Windows 10 Home), which is utterly useless for all purposes outside of security.

- Answer Yes, there is a way to make the MSI GS 75 stealth compatible with a VALVE index VR headset. You will, unfortunately, have to buy a thunderbolt USB type C adapter for it, though. You will need a thunderbolt USB type C to DisplayPort adapter. I have an MSI GS 75 stealth and an Oculus Rift S VR headset myself, and once I got the adapter, I was able to use my VR headset with no problems. I hope this helps.

- Answer 242 is standard 1TB SSD. The 247 comes with 512 GB NVMe SSD

- Answer The previous version of this machine came with the 80 Watt. This one (with the 9750H) definitely comes with the 90 Watt. I checked the Nvidia Control Panel before I bought it.

- Answer It is the 9th GEN i7-9750H so don't be confused by the GENERATION and the i number. I hope this helps.

QuestionSo i bought this Laptop about over a week ago,It runs like a champ but the issue i have is the speakers,they sound like i am listening threw my phone,when i use my headset its great but speaker wise its lacking,idk if this is a defect or what.

- Answer No optical drive on the unit. You can get a USB optical drive. I've had a USB optical drive for a while as I used Macbooks before and they ditched the optical drive a while back. Honestly for me I never miss it as I may put a CD / DVD into the drive once in three months. Might wanna rethink this unit if that's very important to you. That or rip the CD/DVDs to the unit and put the disk away.

- Answer I can tell you that the monitor frame is flimsy, I could snap it in half with my pinky. So yep if you dropped this and it hit the monitor frame it's going to brake it. If you have any animals or kids, chances are this will get broken.
