“I can NOT dual boot but MUST use Linux for work so which distros? What are the recommended distros that successfully work with this laptop, including the keyboard lights. I cannot not fine one (1), even after many hours of research. Thank you.”

I was able to dual boot easily to Win10 and Ubuntu and or Redhat. You need to run Linux distro in dual boot mode. I was able to install Ubuntu in dual boot mode. If that doesn't work than my next suggestion is using WSL2 and downloading Ubuntu 20.04 from the microsoft store.
