The laptop screen is 360hz compare to your external 144hz screen. You are not able to run any games with laptop screen and external screen on. You will need to shut the laptop lid and run it off one monitor or buy a new monitor that has 360hz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Congrats on the purchase. I have a 120 hz lg monitor, and all I did was plug it up and make sure the lg monitor is my main monitor and not the MSI. This can be found in your display settings on your desktop. You do have the option to set up dual monitors as well and still having the option to choose a main monitor that your games will play on while the other monitor is on, and the MSI monitor can be selected to be off and just use on monitor. Also you'll want to check the Nvidia option to make sure you make adjustments there for your monitor as well to fine tune it a bit more.
