Q: QuestionWill this 1000 Watt card run on a standard 16 Amp circuit, or do I need a 20 Amp circuit. Should I just move to the UK, or hook it up to 220 Volts.
Asked by Rich.
- A:Answer First off, i highly doubt there is ZERO chance BB ever has these in stock. Only 1300 ever made, 100 sold already in Taiwan, another 5 or 10 in give away the other day. And the remaining 1100 id a lottery with a bunch of hurddles to jump thru.. That said, to run this with just the 1000w bios, u would be fine on 110. The true insanity of this card is the 2500w bios, thats gonna require two 1600w PSUs and would be advide to minimum have each on different 110 outlets, HEAVY KNOWLEDGE of XOC, since it will produce massive amounts of heat. So other words, this will have to be cooled with LN2, liquid nitrogen, for very fast short runs on port royal for benchmark Hall of fame runs. Its gonna set major records. But mostly, creators and XOC people will get these and a few deep pockets people. If u have extra cash, and 240v breaker not being used, its simple to use that with a PDU, steriods looking over sized server rack piwer supply and plug it into that. Honestly thinking of moving one of my PDUs to run my pcs and bench mark PCs to a PDU. All most all PSU can run on 240v and run like 40% or higher more efficiently, delievering much cleaner power and less a month on bills. To do so u only need a PDU, for sale every where, and connection for it. Or add an plg adaptors like Nema 5 15 to C13 or C14 for pdu or use ur dryer plug when not doing laundry, just thats a different plug type just adapter plug needed. This is another safe way to do it and cheapest way if u dont want a monstrosity of a power strip in ur pc room. I will include pics of what im saying . Good luck thou and research geting in lottery pool for MSI , NEVER KNOW U might get one. Running asics crypto miners with them.
