Hi GMCSIERRA, The instructions that are included with the dashcam can be found here: https://geko-default.s3.amazonaws.com/quickguides/Infiniview%20Lite%20-%20Quick%20User%20Manual.pdf You have the option of tapping into your reverse light of your vehicle if you'd like the dashcam to automatically switch to the reverse view while you're backing up but if you don't want to use the feature you can always skip that step in the instructions and use the the dashcam as is.
