Questionwould it be possible to use just the sound bar and two subs? considering this as a gift but the person I'm buying for is not really into movies etc. Mainly some cartoons for the kids and playing music through when convenient. thanks!

- Answer Yes, but that would be like buying a tank to go to the grocery store...a bit of overkill. Those subs shake the walls.

QuestionCan you connect an AV receiver to this speaker system? Don't like lag audio. All wireless units seem to have that problem. But Nakamichi suppose to be the best. Hate to spend money on high end home theatre system and it lags. What's best remedy?

- Answer I have not had any issues with lag with this system at all. I ran my 4k player and Nintendo Switch through my tv and ran an ARC HDMI from the tv to the soundbar, so if your AV receiver has an HDMI out or optical out, you should be able to connect to the soundbar, but if you are worried about lag, don't, because I have no issues with lag. Hope this helps!

- Answer No, however, there was a hardware update to the 7.2.4 (I can't specifically speak to the other models) in 2019 that made it compatible with HDMI 2.0. I imagine that at some point they may do the same with HDMI 2.1 as well as Bluetooth updates. This will be a different unit though so you may want to look elsewhere if eARC and HDMI 2.1 are deal breakers for you.

QuestionI recently purchased the samsung q90r and just like most of the reviews have stated the rear speakers are low unless watching atmos/DTS X content in which case they are loud and sound incredible. Does this same issue happen with this unit?

QuestionHas anyone experienced the sound bar turning on as it is sync with their tv, then identifies which HDMI or ARC it currently is on the show "STBY" then shuts off? I have done a hard factory reset and reconfig the setting in the tv but still nothing.
