I purchased this product along with the Eeros WiFi extender. Maybe I was a bit confused but we couldn’t get the WiFi service to work properly on Mediacom. Did we miss the information about needing a router as well? null

Yes, you will need a router as well. This is a modem only.

This is a cable modem not a WiFi router. Your extender is supposed to extend your WiFi signal but if you don’t have a wireless router then there will be no signal to extend.
