“I am getting internet through xfinity/comcast. I don't currently have any cable service or satellite service and use antennas. Will the NETGEAR 8 x 4 DOCSIS 3 cable modem be the only equipment I will need in order to get the internet service?”

• This modem is made just for Comcast, but yes, I needed a router as well and no, I could not use my modem. It's best to ask Xfinity/Comcast.

• Yes; It has 2 Ethernet ports. I plugged the TV into 1 and an old wireless router into the other and connected my laptop and printer wirelessly. Everything is working great
