- Answer Yes. I have Xfinity and it works great. There are 4 of us all with multiple devices. Have had no problems. It's been a month. We got extended warranty just in case.

- Answer It will work well with a Roku 4. The decision to connect by ethernet or wireless depends on the signal strength of your wireless where you install the Roku. The stronger the wireless signal the faster the wireless-rated speed, up to its capacity in your environment. Roku 4 supports 4k video, which can demand up to 25mpbs of bandwidth (ultra 4k). If you have an easy way to use ethernet cable directly without tearing your house up to run the cable, it's your most reliable bandwidth. The Roku specs say the 4 uses 100mbps for ethernet, which is plenty for any current streaming video needs. However, since this router supports 5GHz and AC speeds, your Roku 4 will also likely work quite well on wireless if you have a good signal where you set it up.

- Answer It does block by entering in a specific site OR control it by having the highest filtering level...low, medium, high (blocks all bad sites) works great!

- Answer Most routers have an option for mounting on the wall, I looked at this one in Best Buy and it had the 2 slots to slide over screws, Always check before you buy thats why I like buying in a store instead of online, if you have time.

QuestionCan I change the IP address? Spectrum just provided me new modem and router and now I can’t connect to my work server. My IT guy told me I need to change IP. Both office and home are Spectrum. I had no problem working from home until I got new equipment.

- Answer Yes you can change the IP but you have to access it first. If you want to put it behind your ISP equipment. Connect a cable to sepctrum router, and the other end to netgear WAN. that will give it an IP inside the sepctrum router subnet. If you want it to run the show and replace the sepctrum equipment, they might have to put their gear in bridge mode.

- Answer This is not a modem, so there is no DOCSIS. it will work with any ISP as long as it gets a public IP for example; a direct ethernet connect from you ISP, connection to ISP modem/router.

QuestionI have a back house and the distance from the router to the back house is 15feet. The router is in main house bedroom then goes to the bathroom then the exterior wall. I don't have cable TV. So my TV works with internet. Is this the right router for me

- Answer For most decent routers 15ft is not a problem, unless there are really dense walls or frequency interference sources in between the router and the device. But my experiences with this product's wifi feature have been really bad in general. I would go with a different make.

- Answer I would suggest using an ethernet cable to the back of the router, directly. Open up a browser on a laptop or tower, and eventually, the Netgear page will appear for setup instructions. Your second option is to download the Netgear App on your phone, connect to the WiFi codes posted on the bottom of the router, and follow instructions from there. Best of luck, Consultant Brian
