Q: Question"Adjustable camera mount" included?The netgear site lists "(1) Adjustable camera mount" as included in the 4-camera system. However, I don't see that item listed on Best Buy's description of what's included. Can anyone confirm that the adjustable camera mount is, in fact, included? Anyone using it? Thoughts?

• A:Answer Yes if you pick one of the higher yearly service plans.. I pay $99.00 a year and that allows me to have 10 cameras on one base station.

• A:Answer What I found is that after the recoding is logged, if there is continued motion it will begin recording again. However, you will notice a gap in time between when the first recording ended and the second began.

• A:Answer I've had mine up for about 3 months - two of them outdoors and haven't had an issue yet. They're set up for motion detection from 10 PM to 5 AM so they don't get a whole lot of use. When you go to live camera view (which is what uses a lot of battery power) it has a little bar gauge.

Q: QuestionIf mounted on wood under an eave, does the camera itself still connect to the mount via magnet?I think this could be an issue....I'd like to put a camera or 2 in my front porch. Someone can easily just remove the camera if magnet is the only thing that connects between the camera and mount.

• A:Answer This setup comes with one camera that is mounted with screws, not with a magnet. The other three, that we have put on the sides and back of our house, are mounted with the magnet.

• A:Answer The beauty of this system is that it includes it's own routing station. You plug this base station into your router at home (hard wire only) and the cameras all interface with this base station, which has really good range.

Q: QuestionHow easy is it to replace the batteries?If I mount this camera high, will the battery compartment be easy to access for replacement? I would hate to struggle with it while perched on a tall ladder. Thanks!

• A:Answer You will have to take the camera down to replace the batteries. The battery compartment is underneath the camera and it is a tight place to access.

• A:Answer If you opt for the FREE cloud service, you have 1GB of free storage that is kept for 7 days. After 7 days, the oldest gets deleted automatically to make room for newer recordings. If you opt to buy additional storage, the next level up I believe keeps the recordings for 30 days and storage jumps to 10GB ($100 for a year I believe).

Q: QuestionDos this need a "hub" to work, or all I need to do is buy the cameras and I'm good to go.....I'm confused because some pictures show a hub and some don't. Would I need a hub for the cameras to work, or if I purchase the 2 camera package for $349 Ill be good.

• A:Answer The motion activated cameras alert your cell phone. There is a short time delay of 2 minutes or so. There is no option for continuous recording as there is no DVR or "card". There is no option for "plugging in" the cameras. Actually you are apparently looking for a totally different system!! This is a system that is a camera system that detects motion, alerts you and provides a 2 min video, as well as being totally wireless and convenient!
