Hi Jeannie... It seems to me the issue you're facing is the concrete walls. Walls in general are barriers to any WiFi signal, and solid walls like concrete are the most difficult to navigate. This extended is a very good choice, but given your situation you might want to consider a new product that's hit the market. It's called Plume... They are looking to change the way we use WiFi, instead of having a router Plume uses mini WiFi hotspots that you plug in around your house. This setup gets around the issue of solid walls, and may well prove to be a better solution for your unique needs...

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the signal of your tablet is being obtained via a 3 or 4g network, no, the extender will not help. I am assuming you have a router inside your home and want to boost that signal. I think it will work for that.
