A:AnswerIt works with a LOT of cable companies. Do a generic search online. The list is long. And the machine itself is very competent except for its lack of ability to stop a USB connected storage hard drive (NAS). But be aware of the drawbacks Netgear is causing by lack of desktop/laptop support for their equipment as of late2019. They've discontinued the Genie app which was a competent interface and substituted it with the Nighthawk app that is dumbed down to the point of absurdity - almost no control but the very basics - and it only runs on your phone, not computers. Bad move. I would look elsewhere. Oh, and customer support (limited to 90 days only!) is in the Philippines. So..... brush up on your broken English, or go in circles in chat as they put your question into the form of their database question/answers. So instead of your question being answered you go all around the horn trying to just get close, and be prepared to wait, wait, wait. Last time I accessed chat it took 40 minutes once connected just to answer a 30 second-type easy question. So frustrating.
A:Answertried to get this activated and the support person told me they don't allow residential clients to have more than 16x4 channels. this modem is a 24x8, returning this to the store to get a lower model.

A:AnswerI have no problem outside the house near the router but it's next to an outside wall and if yours in deeper in the house, you might not fare as well. I also have the extender below that greatly helps throughout the rest of the house.

If you simply mean for use with Time Warner Cable internet, then yes it will.
A:AnswerTime warner is fully supported with the night hawk 1900 ac.. hard wire a device into it run a speed test if your getting full speed then I might suggest getting the 1900 range extender .. wireless has never been good through walls ..as well as 5g bandwidth has never had as big of a range as 2.4
A:AnswerThe USB functionality is to be able to read / write to a USB drive. From what I have learnt over the last few days the USB port is not a network port like the Ethernet ports are. For some reason I don't understand the C7000v2 unit's USB functionality is very very buggy ( i have a much older Netgear unit that has worked pretty flawlessly for nearly 15 years!!) .
I would not recommend this device to anybody....Nor sadly can I recommend Netgear as a vendor anymore due to its horrendously bad tech support and I have been a long time Netgear user.

A:AnswerI did the setup myself. Xfinity has a great chat system that allowed me to get their technical help, and when I ran into an issue they called me and walked me through the problem resolution steps as necessary. Total time was about an hour.
A:AnswerI have 600 mbps internet speed with Comcast and have 18 devices connected no problems, before you buy just call your internet provider give them the model name of router/modem they will confirm if it’s compatible with their service. Hope this helps.
