Q: QuestionMy satellite provider is Rise Broadband in Loveland, CO. Rise provided a tp-link Archer C5 AC1200 Router. Rise has a max speed of 25 MPS, at best. In evening prime time it drops to around 10 MPS requiring a lot of buffering. Will this router help me?

• A:Answer You can probably use it as an access point, but you’re better off buying a much less expensive gateway that is designed to do what you want. You could also use this instead of the modem/gateway provided by your ISP.
