Normally a router will work with any modem. I would contact Suddenlink and see if they allow third party routers. Some service providers require the use of only their equipment. Also some providers have their router and modem in a combined package. You would need to either disable the router function in their product, or just have a modem only and connect the new router to the modem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It shouldn't matter what isp you have as long as there is an Ethernet cable to connect to the router you should be fine . But I am not familiar with suddenlink so I can't be positive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Routers in general work with pretty much any ISP and modem (however newer router models may have a hard time with older modems and vice versa). However, you do need to make sure your modem is supported by the ISP. If it is then you are pretty much free to select any router you want.
